Time Lasting Runescape Secret to create an Elite Level 85+ Multi-Millionaire RuneScape Character

If you already have a large extended family in runescape, then you can this very be even more exciting for you in runescape.

If not, this secret for runescape will help you find the essential social network that makes runescape so fun. Also, you’ll find that having many friends in runescape will make getting rich a whole lot easier (for a different reason that you probably think).

Runescape is very different than real life (obviously). In runescape, you will find that whatever you say will not be taken seriously at first. If you ask someone to be your runescape friend, they might assume you’re a moocher and only talking because you’re after their runescape items. buy wow powerleveling

But having a network of friends in runescape is part of the game. Somehow training is less boring, fighting runescape dragons is less scary and PKing is ten times as fun whenever you have runescape friends nearby keeping company in runescape. But making a runescape friend in runeScape is very different than making one in real life.

The trick in runescape is to have something to do. If you like mining, start talking to runescape player while you swing your pick. If you enjoy fishing, chat with runescape player about fishing levels while you cage your lobster.

Remember, their levels don’t matter to start with in runescape. As long as you both can do something and enjoy doing it, ask him or her to add you and suggest that you two be runescape friends. It’s really very easy, and the more runescape friends you have the better a time you’ll have in runescape.

One of the best ways to make a good, lasting runescape friend in runescape is PKing. If you like to PK then find someone in runescape around your level. Ask them to team up (make sure they don’t backstab you!) and after you get your first kill together you’ll have a Runescape friend for life in runescape. buy wow powerleveling

Another thing: if you’re selling an item to a runescape player and it’s a fair price (it should be), then don’t hesitate to chat about stuff outside of the trade about runescape. You might find that you’ll make a lasting runescape friend this way – not to mention a reliable buyer in the long run in runescape.

Make sure, however, that you don’t expect anything from them. Sure, Runescape friends do favors for each other, but make sure you don’t require them to. The most common mistake that screws up Runescape friendships is one person demanding something from the other just because “he’s a friend in Runescape.” This is a serious no-no: don’t act desperate and don’t be a leech, and you’ll have your friends list filled up in no time in Runescape.

How to Make Money in Runescape: 1000 Gold Per Hour for Any Player

This guide is a walkthrough that will show you how to make money in Runescape using doing a simple little banana picking quest several times over. It can be done with ANY Runescape character, regardless of combat level and skills.

Picking Bananas for Wealth!

I know it sounds a little lame to talk about banana picking but this is probably the easiest method of making money in Runescape when you don't have any skills yet. The quest pays you 30gp per run which does not sound like much but I'm going to show you how you can repeat it really quickly. In on hour you can easily make at least 1000 gold pieces. buy runescape powerleveling

First of all you need to find Port Sarim.

Starting Out - You Need to Find Port Sarim

I don't know where you are in the Runescape world so I'll give directions from Lumbridge which is the starting location for all players. Port Sarim is west of Lumbridge but the easiest way to find it is simply to follow the road North of Lumbridge and this will take you straight to Port Sarim.

Along the way you'll find yourself in a forrest which has loads of little level 2 goblins running around. These goblins drop money so if you dont have that 30gp that you need, whack a few of these goblins on the way through the forrest.

When you get to the dock at Port Sarim you'll see a sailor dressed in blue. Speak to him and he'll offer to transport you to the Island of Karjama for a fee of 30gp. Pay the fee and make the trip.

Working the Banana Picking Job

In front of the dock is a small house and inside the house is a man called Luthas. Speak to him to be offered the task. buy runescape powerleveling

The banana plantation is around the back of Luthas' house just up the path. There are many trees in the plantation and each tree holds around 5 bananas. You simply click the tree to pick the banana and unlike most other skills in Runescape, this does not take any time - it's instant, which is why this task can be very lucrative.

Click on 10 bananas and then head back to Luthas' house. The crate is just around the front of the house. You need to fill the crate first before you can get your payment from Luthas. Right click on the crate to fill it. Don't make the mistake I did of clicking on the bananas, because they are food and you will eat them! The crate needs 10 bananas to be considered full.

Once the crate is full, go back to Luthas and speak to him. Once he gives you the payment, speak to him again to repeat the task. Don't forget this part otherwise you waste time running around! Now simply rinse and repeat and within an hour you will have 1000gp or more depending on how quickly you do it.

This is such an easy method that you can make yourself popular in the game by teaching other people how to do it too. If you see other newbies, show them how to make money in Runescape with this quest.

Make Millions On Runescape Without Runescape Cheat

Did you know you can make money on Runescape without Runescape Cheat? In this guide, you will discover the secrets to make money without using Runescape Cheat. These are ideas that the high-level Runescape players do not want you to know. You will learn to make millions without using Runescape Cheat.

Let us now get to the essence and learn how you can make millions on Runescape without Runescape Cheat. runescape powerleveling

  • You can cut logs and cut better and better logs as you gain levels. The better the log the more money you can get from each one. Easy money and no Runescape Cheat.
  • Cutting down magic trees is another way of making money without using Runescape Cheat. However, they are hard to cut down. However, remember each magic tree will sell for at least 1000 each, and a fletched magic long bow is worth about 4000.
  • Mine coal and iron. Smelt them together to make a steel bar. Most people smith steel bars into plate bodies and high alchemy them. Each plate body sells for 1,200. I would only recommend smithing and high alchemizing steel plate bodies, if you wanted to improve your magic and smithing levels. Otherwise sell the steel bars themselves. This is an excellent way of making money on Runescape without Runescape Cheat.
  • Go to the South East of Seer's Village and pick flax until your inventory is full. Then take it North West to the small building, two buildings south from the bank. Go upstairs and spin the flax on the west side of the room, you will craft them into bow strings. Each sells for 150 gold. This is for members only and does not use Runescape Cheat.
  • For those of you with +70 range, kill some blue dragons down at Taverly Dungeon, or even better get 70 agility and you will get to the dragons in less than 15 secs from the bank down to the dragons. Each dragon drops about 4,500-5,000 worth of stuff unless you get a rare item. This consists of 1 dragon bone and 1 dragon hide guaranteed per kill. One dragon bone is worth from 2,000-2,800, and one dragon hide is 2,000 each. This is a great way of making money without Runescape Cheat and if you're not afraid of dying from the dragons.
  • Vial Running is for members only. For vial running you have to finish Shilo Village Quest. Once have done that go to Shilo Village bank and take out 4,000. After that run to the general store right beside the bank and buy all the vials of water. Keep doing this and switching worlds. Once you have 1,000 vials of water go on herblore forums and look for a buyer. No Runescape cheat, only money!
  • A members only tip. Ensure you have completed the Priest in Peril Quest. Go to the clothing shop in the werewolf town and buy lots of gold gloves for about 1,500-2,500. Go to the bank and deposit them. Finally go to Verdock and log onto a non-member world and sell the gloves anywhere from 3,000-9,000 and you have a profit! All easy money without any Runescape Cheat.
  • Save up 200k then go to world one, for Free to Play members, or world two for Pay to Play members, and buy things that are selling lower than its market price, and then try and find a buyer that is willing to pay what it is worth or more. This is called merchanting. To do this well you need to keep up to date with market prices. This is possibly the best way to make money in Runescape without using Runescape Cheat. runescape powerleveling

This guide will help you make money regardless of your combat level and / or starting money. The most important thing is that you will not be using any Runescape Cheat. Read this thoroughly to learn the secrets of making money without jeopardizing your game or using Runescape Cheat.

Runescape Hack - Tae The Game By Storm

Inherent human inadequacies abound in multitudes and are perceptible in any activity that one puts forth even the slightest of inquiries. And to even the greatest believer and ardent supporter of the positive nature of humans, this cold reality can easily lead to utter disappointment and a misguided blanket judgment on even those not guilty of the particularly applicable misdeed or digression. runescape power leveling

How does any of this possibly relate to RuneScape? Well, as is most certainly one of the desired goals of the online adventure game, the virtual world RuneScape shares several characteristics with our very own world of blood, dirt and greed. This is of course obvious. Players live, die, need money, need health, interact with others, etc, etc. But, to me, this hardly begins to scratch the surface of what ties together the worlds of the solar system's 3rd planet and that which resides within the 1's and 0's of your computer. To me its all about human nature; and unfortunately, as a natural cynic I often times find myself assuming the worst as a rule and anything better than that as an exception.

I must again inquire: How does any of this relate to RuneScape? What I'm saying is that in this real world of ours the historic injustices and systematic inequalities have steamed from such a large and long tide, that it's as unlikely that any truly good news in the way of humanity is as fictional as a rabbit that misplaces eggs to celebrate the resurrection of some guy from Nazareth. But, here we have an opportunity to wipe the slate clean, to start all over again, but do it right this time. We have a virtual world that in fact even comes equipped with rules in order to maintain the societal fairness that we all publicly pronounce as important to us in the real world. Great. What could possible go wrong. What? Human nature--that's what. runescape power leveling

It would be impossible to move through the world of RuneScape for even a minuscule amount of time without gaining full appreciation for how many RuneScape hacks there are out there. The hacks are out there to cheat their way into better, undeserved stats and to cheat you out of yours. They want to make real world money, by hacking into the system and changing stats. And all of this unavoidably creates an unfair and unjust experience for the multitudes that do not engage in RuneScape hacking. Sound familiar? It should, its art imitating life...or, maybe more like, life using art to further engage in the disgusting characteristics of life.

Runescape Help - When You Need Some

I just arrived in a new city. I don't have a map. I don't speak the language. I don't know what time it is. And I have no idea why everybody is rushing around so much and where it is that they're going to. What do I want to do? Go home. But, suddenly, a stranger appears and offers me an explanation to the city's layout and then of the language and the schedule of the city's happenings and then all sorts of explanations of peoples activities. I'm definitely staying. I have just described for you my experience into the world of RuneScape. buy runescape powerleveling

Without the help that is offered by those familiar with the complex and confusing world of RuneScape, certain frustration and retreat would have been inevitable. But the RuneScape help that was offered to me came as a great relief and a pleasant surprise for two reasons. One obviously regards the logistics that are needed to understand the game, but the other is a little abstract.

RuneScape is a community. Well, actually RuneScape is a really, really big community. And as with any big community its really easy to feel shuffled to the side, disregarded and unwanted. But, the extensive amounts of help that is offered by both the RuneScape staff and also by generous strangers is something that makes me want to learn more and be proud to consider myself part of the community. buy runescape powerleveling

It also makes me think about what it is that has led me here. Why am I so drawn to playing this game with countless strangers around the world. Well the game obviously offers great diversion, fun and a round challenge. But, when I feel as though I simply do not need to make any extensive searches in order to find someone willing to help with RuneScape, I feel that I really am where I need to be.

Legitimate Ways to Getting Rich in Runescape

There are no "cheats" in runescape, however there are easy ways to make a lot of money that people just don't know about because they don't know where to look.

This might suprise you, but getting rich is nowhere near as difficult as you think it is. For example, I can make a few million a day easily and you can too. It will take you a while to get yourself to that kind of level, but with practice and the knowledge that I can give you, you'll be there in no time. I've revealed a few money making "cheats" throughout this article to get you started, the rest are at my website.

Two things that will definitely help you on your quest to becoming a millionaire is this, don't waste your time begging and if it sounds too good to be true it probably is, i.e. someone is trying to scam you, so just walk away.

Most of the big time money making methods are only available to paying members of runescape.

However, on my website I discuss loads of amazing methods which also work for free players. cheap rs money

For example, do you know how to craft air runes? Most people do, however once you reach a certain level, you will make more runes per essence. If you had 10 rune essence, at level 1 you can make only 10 air runes, but did you know that once you reach a certain level, you can make 100 air runes from just 10 rune essence?

And all you had to do to get there was level up enough. That means you'll be multiplying your profits by 10, read that again, you've just multiplied your profits by 10.

That's just one simple little runescape "cheat" that I can share with you. There's many MANY more.

Here's another one, as you know, the more you fish, the more your level goes up, but it also means that you will catch fish quicker.

Have you bee. selling raw fish? STOP IMMEDIATELY, cook the fish and sell them for a MUCH bigger profit, again, a simple little "cheat" that will help you sky rocket your profits. You may burn quite a few at first, but the more you practise the less you'll burn and the higher your profits soar.

So for now, forget combat, yep you heard me, forget combat. Combat doesn't bring you nearly as much money as a free player as making the most of your skills will. Combat is greta and all, but if you haven't got the money to buy you that next wicked cool weapon, then whats the point?

Yes grinding out the levels to actually GET to where you can make a ton of money is a little tedious, but just think of how much you could be making. cheap rs money

I wish you all the best in making money in runescape and hope to see you at my website soon for even more tips.

Runescape 2 Thieving

Thieving is a very useful Members-Only skill in Runescape 2. To make a lot of money you will need at least 50 Thieving. Use the following steps to increase your level in Runescape 2 Thieving level.

  • Level 1-10, pickpocket Men in Edgeville 145 times.
  • Level 10-30, steal cakes from the Baker's Stall in Ardougne 764 times.

  • Level 70-80, pickpocket watchmen to steal 364,520 Runescape 2 money and 9,113 bread
  • At level 80, pickpocket Paladins to make 100,000gp an hour

Runescape 2 High Alchemizing

In Runescape 2 to use the High Alchemy magic spell, you need at least 55 Magic. Firstly, decide what you think may be the quickest for you to make. If you have a high enough Mining and Smithing level, you can smith Steel Platemail. Someone who has a high Fletching level can make Yew or Magic bows.

Runescape 2 Mining

Mining is one of the most vital skills in RuneScape 2. You should have at least 40 Mining. At a 40 Mining it is easier to mine Coal. Even though you only need 30 Mining for Coal, it would be much more difficult to mine it at that level in Runescape 2. You should also buy either an Adamantite or Rune pick. cheap runescape gold

For Members, a great place to mine coal is near Ardougne, and a bank is nearby. Free-Players can mine in the Dwarven mines, but in Runescape 2 there is no bank close to the mine.

  • Mine 4,731 coal and sell for around 100-150gp each
  • You should be at level 60 Mining to enter the Miner's Guild. Mine 59,598 coal and sell for around 100-150gp each
  • Now that you're level 85 Mining, you can mine Rune in the Wilderness, or from the Heroes Guild. Each ore sells for around 10,000-15,000gp!

Runescape 2 Smithing

Smithing in Runescape 2 is quite a good way to make money, but you need patience as it takes a while. As non-members, steel plate bodies (at 48 Smithing) is a good item to make. They high alchemy for 1,200gp each, and can sell to other players for 900 to 1,000gp each. Rune axes, scimitars, battle axes and kites are the better items to make and sell in Runescape 2 as they are high in demand. As members, an extra bonus is the well-known Cannonball. After doing the Dwarf Cannon quest, you can get your hands on what is known as an 'Ammo Mould'. Cannonballs are worth 150gp to 200gp each, and one Steel Bar makes four. That's 600 to 800gp per bar.

Runescape 2 Herblore

It is a very hard skill and requires a lot of time, effort and if you do not have Runescape 2 money to start with. The potions which sell well are prayer, fishing, agility, ranged, anti-fire and Super sets (Super Attack, Super Strength and Super Defence) and the rest are slightly harder to sell. cheap runescape gold

At 25 Herblore in Runescape 2, there is a herb you can identify called Ranarr Weed. This is a very popular, in-demand herb. When IDed, these herbs sell for 3k to 4k each. Once you reach 38 herblore, you can make one of the most popular potions is the Prayer Potion. Prayer potions in Runescape 2 sell for 5k each, so you could buy ranarrs, and then sell the potions at 1k to 2k profit.

Runescape 2 Auto Bots

If you¡¯ve been looking for runescape 2 auto bots I¡¯m glad you came here first.

Did you know that 99% of websites claiming to offer free runescape 2 auto bots is trying to scam you? buy runescape gold

What they¡¯re actually offering you is a piece of software full of trojans and viruses, designed to hack into your computer and steal as much of your information as they can. This included, credit card numbers, passwords and other personal details.

This means that as soon as you download one, you can say goodbye to your runescape account as well anything you wanted to keep private.

If you actually go out looking to BUY runescape 2 auto bots , then if you¡¯re very lucky you might end up finding one that actually works. But this is VERY rare.

Even if you manage to find and pay for an auto bot without getting ripped off, you¡¯re account will get banned very quickly.

How?

The runescape staff can easily track unusual activity such as repeated commands and how long a user has been online for i.e. no normal person can stay online for 3 days in a row without stopping.

And even if you do get away with the automining you wont get away with selling the stuff you mine. You can sell it and get the money off it, but the runescape staff can also track all trades, so if they see a level 3 account trading 1 million gold worth of items, it will draw suspicion. buy runescape gold

But you also cannot transfer these items or the money to your main account, because they are alerted to unusual trades i.e. giving 2 million away for nothing would look very suspicious. Which would result in not only your auto bot account getting banned, but your main account too.

So all in all you can¡¯t win with auto bots.

However, if you want to do better at runescape and make a ton of money at the same time, you could sign up to my free runescape tips newsletter. Over about 30 days you¡¯ll be recieving tips on how to improve your character.

If you don¡¯t believe me, sign up and try it out, it¡¯s free so you¡¯ve got nothing to lose.

The Easiest Runescape Money Making Guide

This Guide just glad to improve your account, If you can Get really Cheap Runescape Gold, We suggest to Usfine.com, or Runescape-items.com, Enjoy Game!

A simple and easy to understand money making guide on the famous MMORPG, Runescape. Worth reading if you want your hands on that last piece of armor.?

0gp - 45k gp :

Okay, here is how you start and don¡¯t bother killing goblins an stuff if you are low lvl to make your money. This is the simplest trick but do require a bit of patience. Head over to barbarian village in world 1 or 3. But try and avoid the barbarians unless if you are a higher lvl than them since they are aggressive to lower lvl people. There is a fishing spot to the east of Barbarian Village just over the bridge that takes you to Varrock. runescape gold

People fly-fish cooked or raw trout and salmon over there and often give them away for free since they are lvlin their fishing or cooking. Your job is to bank as many as you can. Bank them at the Edgeville bank north of Barbarian village. Not a far walk, about 30seconds or so. Get about 400 cooked trout and 200 cooked salmon. Each cooked trout should sell for around 70gp and each cooked salmon should be around 80gp and if you are lucky enough some people buy for 100gp ea in. Sell them in Varrock or Edgeville bank. This should leave you with around 45k.?

45k gp - 100k gp :

Okay, now head over to Fallador in world 1 o 3. People sell coal here and you can attract a lot of people with coal you sell or buy. Buy as many coal ore as you can for around 140gp-150gpea. That¡¯s what I did. And then sell them for around 180gp-200gpea. Suppose you bought 293 coal ore for 150gp ea with 44k and then sold them for 190gp ea , that¡¯s is a whole 11,670gp profit! Keep doing this until you get 100k.? runescape gold

?

100k gp - *k gp:

Now since you have 100k, here is when the big money comes in. IT TAKE BIG MONEY TO MAKE BIGGER MONEY. Remember that. Stick to coal since that is one of the best way to make money WITHOUT going around places. Do the something as I said in making 45k-100k above. Why? Here is why. If you have 100k and bought coal for 150p ea and sold them for 190gpea, that¡¯s a whole 26k profit you get there! Ain¡¯t sound much? Well the more money you have, the bigger your profit is.

Or if you are getting bored of coal, you can do the same thing on yew logs buy them for 250gp ea and sell them for 300gp ea. Iron ore, buy for 80gp ea and sell for 100gp ea. Lobsters, buy for 200gp ea rarely and se for 250gpea. But I recommend coal since you make the most profit out of it. If you are bored of standing in one place you could try some of the options below.?

?

Fishing + Cooking :

This is one good skill you can use to make money with. The big money starts pouring in when you a fishing lvl of 40 or above. Why? Because you can fish lobsters that sell for 200-250gpea raw or cooked. If you are a non-member, you have to catch the boat all the way to Karamja. That is a long way but worth it. If you are a member I have no idea.?

?

Mining :

Okay, the is one of the, THE best skills to make money. You can make your money from lvl 15 all the way up. Lvl 15 you can mine iron ore which sell for 100gp ea, lvl 30coal ore which sell for 150-200gp ea. But if you want to make quicker money, you GOTTA get it to lvl 60. That¡¯s when you can et into the mining guild through a short cut from Fallador. There are some 34 coal ore and 5 mithril ore. Mith ore sells from 350gp-500gp. Adamant ores sell for 1k-1.2k ea and rune ores ell for 10k-12k ea!?

?

Woodcutting :

This to is a good skill to make money. Even at a low lvl. Normal logs sell for 15gp ea, oak logs sell for 20-30gp ea. Willows I¡¯m not sure but around 50gp ea? Then at lvl 60, you can woodcut yews which members buy from 300gp ea! Sell normal, oak, willow at Draynor Village bank. Yews at Varrock.?

?

Smithing :

Smithing is a good skill to again¡.Steel bars sell from 500gp-600gp ea. But lvling smithing is pretty hard because you have to mine the coal to bank and the other ore which you need to make you kind of armour or weapon which takes a long time and patience if you are a non-member. Again I¡¯m not sure about member.

Hope this helps everybody out!?

"Sticky" RuneScape Stands At #1

How familiar are you with RuneScape? According to Hitwise, it’s number one among the plethora of virtual worlds for children and teens, and about ten days ago, Nielsen//NetRatings called RuneScape one of Britain’s “stickiest” sites. cheap runescape powerleveling

So, for those of you who aren’t familiar with RuneScape, it’s a MMORPG, or in the company’s parlance, “an evolving world of remarkable depth and flexibility.” Think of it as World of Warcraft for a younger set. And, judging from LeeAnn Prescott’s latest numbers, it’s evolving into a very big world. “RuneScape is by far the #1 site,” she wrote, “with 44% of visits to the category.”

RuneScape’s closest competitors owned the bragging rights on growth; “[w]hen comparing the weeks ending 4/29/06 and 4/28/07,” Prescott continued, “the market share of visits to Webkinz was up 1141%, Club Penquin up 545%, and Stardoll up 275%.” In terms of overall market share, however, those sites fell far behind, with just 14.08%, 10.57%, and 5.89%, respectively.

Which leads us back to the Nielsen//NetRatings info - taken together, the reports seem to indicate that that kids pick up on things quickly and possess a long attention span. (And lest any adult RuneScape players feel insulted, I should note once again that Hitwise was measuring virtual worlds for children and teens.) cheap runescape powerleveling

According to Nielsen//NetRatings, then, “Games brands account for four of the top seven sites by average time per visitor - RuneScape, Electronic Arts, King.com and Adventure Quest.” This qualifies these sites as “sticky,” and so, while that’s not the nicest-sounding term, RuneScape (and its players) should be glad that it applies.

RuneScape Rules & In Game Reporting

Rule 1: Offensive Language

What is offensive language? It is a form of language which others find insulting or obscene. The reason that there is this rule is to maintain a friendly community within Runescape. It is important to have such a rule, as it protects the players from insults from others, especially when the insult is inappropriate for a particular age of players. buy runescape powerleveling

Here is a list of scenarios that is considered to be under Offensive Language Category:

Swearing, flaming another player (by bypassing the censor)

Heavy flooding of the chat window with unnecessary or gibberish messages

Harassing a player with sexual remarks

Racist messages

Threatening messages (such as threatening to hack or scam an innocent player)

Offensive names

Any other inappropriate messages

So if you see anyone doing that, report them under the above rule.

FAQs

Someone called me a noob! Is that offensive language? buy runescape powerleveling

Nope, as what the rules stated, “noob” is not an offensive word. If you are annoyed because the player called you a noob, it’s best to add the player to ignore rather than confronting him.

There are two players who are swearing at each other! What should I do?

In a case where both players are being extremely vulgar, you should report them both under rule 1. But if you know who was the starter of the flame war, you should only report the starter. Then add both of them to ignore and move on. It is best not to say “Reported” as it can worsen the situation and cause the players to flame at you instead.

There could be another scenario, where the two players are friends. They might just be joking among themselves with vulgar language. In such a case, you do not have to worry, as long as they are not affecting players around them. But if you find that their remarks are leading to a flame war, you should report them under rule 1. Before reporting, it is best to advise the two players to talk to each other in private chat, and only report when they refuse to.

A player is swearing but it is censored, should I count it as offensive?

Since it’s censored, the filter has done its job and the language is no longer offensive – which means no report. Just move on and ignore the player. Only report when the player bypasses the censor to swear.

A player said “****, I died again!! Wat the hell! Stupid ****ing randoms!!”, what should I do?

In such a case, it is not offensive as the player is just letting out his frustrations. Even though the language may not be appropriate, but as long as he isn’t directing it at anyone, you should just let him be. If you don’t want to hear it from him, add him to ignore instead.

Rule 2: Item Scamming

What is item scamming? It is to deceive another player and cause them to lose their valuables as a result. This rule is extremely important, and protects players from losing their hard earned valuables.

Here is a list of scenarios that is considered to be under Item Scamming Category:

Offering an item and then changing it at the last second (or item switching)

Offering to trim an item or upgrade an item

Claiming an unrare item rare

Trust games (or truth game), test or trades

Offering to duplicate an item

Claiming to be from Jagex and asks for an item

Team scamming

Luring players into the wilderness under pretence

If anyone is doing the above, it is best to report them for the above rule.

FAQs

A player just said “Follow to win 1mill!!!”, what should I do?

These instances usually turn out to be trust tests or games, so it is most likely an item scam. You may follow the player, and if the player plays the “trust game”, you should report the player under rule 2.

A player claimed to hold a drop party, but he didn’t drop anything! Is that an item scam?

Nope, since he didn’t cause any players to lose any items, it is not an item scam.

A player is seen selling a weird item for 50k, and another player is buying it for 1000k. What should I do?

This is probably a team scam. You should report both players to Jagex for item scamming.

A player is seen selling a weird item for 50k, is there anything I should do?

A player can ask any price they like so long as they don’t lie about it. Remember, you can check the Forums or a fan site to make sure you don’t pay too much for an item.

A player lured me into the wilderness, is that item scamming?

Due to the update of rule 2, luring players into the wilderness by pretending they are not *is* reportable. However, you must be sure that the player is indeed “tricking” you without you knowing.

——————————————————————————–

Rule 3: Password Scamming

What is password scamming? It is a scam whereby players are tricked or persuaded into giving away their passwords of their accounts. This rule is crucial for making sure that each and every account is secure.

Here is a list of scenarios that is considered under password scamming:

Claiming that Jagex blocks passwords (they don’t block passwords)

Selling free membership (the scammer will ultimately ask for your password)

Claiming to be from Jagex and asks for password

Asking for Bank PINs

Asking questions related to your recovery questions (when you give them the answers, you are risking your account)

If you find anyone doing the above, report them for the above rule.

FAQs

A player keeps saying the word “pass”, is it considered password scamming?

Nope, it is not. There is no evidence that the player is asking for anyone’s password, so it is not considered password scamming.

A group of players are discussing about password, what should I do?

They are not breaking rule 3 by discussing passwords, as they are not trying to steal anyone’s password.

There is a player, who is saying, “Buying free membership”, what should I do?

Even though it is not considered password scamming, it *is* against the rules of conduct. Report that player under “Encouraging others to break rules” instead.

——————————————————————————–

Rule 4: Cheating/Bug Abuse

What is bug abuse? It is when a player uses an error in game to gain unfair advantage. This rule ensures that the game is fair for all players, so if you find any bugs in game, please send a bug report to Jagex by clicking on “report a bug/fault” on main page. Please do not tell anyone about the bug and not use it again until Jagex has fixed it.

As it is hard to gather evidence of bug abuse in game, the only time you can know is when a player *admits* to bug abuse. If you see anyone admitting to bug abuse, send a query to Jagex, informing them of the details.

FAQs

A player is harassing me in game, is that bug abuse?

No, it is not. If anyone is harassing you in game, add them to ignore. If the player is using extremely vulgar and offensive language, report them under rule 1.

A player is telling everyone about a bug and asking them to try it! What should I do?

In such a case, it is best to report him under “encouraging others to break rules”, since the player is encouraging others to do something against the rules.

A player is discussing a bug, is that bug abuse?

Nope, discussing a bug is not against the rules, as long as the player is not using it or encouraging others to use it.

——————————————————————————–

Rule 5: Jagex Staff Impersonation

What is Jagex Staff Impersonation? It is when a player impersonates a Jagex Staff when they are not. All Jagex Staff have a gold crown when they talk in game, so you should know if the player is a staff member or not. This rule is important as it prevents them from being tricked by players who attempts to scam them by impersonating a staff.

Here are some scenarios where it is considered to be under Jagex Staff Impersonation:

Claiming to be Jagex and asks for your items or password (report under either item scamming or password scamming)

Player’s name impersonating a Jagex Staff

Claiming to be a player moderator when they are not

Claiming to be Jagex to gain trust from a player

If anyone is doing the above, you should report them under rule 5.

FAQs

A player says that his main is a player moderator, is that staff impersonation?

Yes, even if his main is a player moderator, it is impersonation when he says that his main is a moderator on his other accounts.

A player private messages me saying that he works for Jagex and offers to make me a moderator, do you think I should believe him?

Nope, remember that Jagex Staff will only invite you to be a moderator through *online message centre*. Also, Jagex Staff has a gold crown when they speak in game (even in Private Messages), so if the player does not have the crown, report him under rule 5.

——————————————————————————–

Rule 6: Account Sharing/Trading

What is account sharing or trading? It is when a player shares an account with another player, or when a player sells an account in game. This rule is there to protect each and every account and to make sure that no player is encouraging other players to trade or share accounts.

If you see anyone admitting to sharing/trading accounts in game, report them under this rule. Anyone who offers to give away their accounts for free or sells their account should also be reported under this rule.

FAQs

Is sharing an account with a close friend or family member allowed?

No, account sharing with anyone is not allowed, even if it was with someone you trust.

A player is saying “Selling membership account for 300k”, is that considered pass scamming?

No, since the player mentioned “account”, most likely the player is selling the account, not the membership. Report the player under rule 6 instead.

I see a player selling an account on another site, what should I do?

You should report the site to Jagex through a query. In your query, include the link to that site so that Jagex can investigate the issue.

——————————————————————————–

Rule 7: Using Third Party Software/Macroing

What is macroing? Macroing is the use of third party software that gives players an unfair advantage over other honest players. It is important that this rule is present as it discourages players from using third party software, which often contain keyloggers that steal their account passwords.

Here are some scenarios where it is considered macroing:

Auto programs that helps you in training your skills

Auto programs that speed up typing

Programs that modify or replace Runescape client

Programs that displays pages from Runescape website and provides specific features like worldswitching

If you see anyone using the above programs, report them under this rule.

FAQs

There are just so many macroers! Does Jagex even care about them?

Yes, Jagex does deal with them. Jagex has conducted mass banning of macroers before, if you have read the news archive. Just because they are not posting such news again does not mean they are not banning them anymore. It is just that they need time to look at the evidence properly before going on to take action against them.

——————————————————————————–

Rule 8: Multiple Log In

What is multiple log in? It is when a player logs onto multiple accounts at the same time, and these characters interact with each other. This rule is there to ensure that the game is fair and that newly created accounts would not have an advantage over other players of the same combat level just because these new accounts have a main with more powerful weapons.

Here are some scenarios where it is considered multiple log in:

Transferring of items from one account to another account (when both accounts belong to one player)

Drop trading

Giving an item to a friend and then taking it back from another account

If you see anyone doing the above, report them under the above rule.

FAQs

I saw a group of macroers with similar names; I think they belong to the same player. What do I do?

The best thing to do is to report them all for macroing and send Jagex a query explaining the situation and whom you believe is the player in charge.

A player is promoting third party software and giving a link to it! What should I do?

In this case, report the player under rule 11. If you can, find a player moderator who would be able to deal with the situation better. You can also report the player under rule 9, as he is encouraging others to break the rules.

——————————————————————————–

Rule 9: Encouraging Others To Break Rules

What is encouraging others to break rules? It is to persuade another player into doing something against any of the 15 rules and telling them it is alright to do so. This rule is there to make sure that players are not confused about the rules and to remove those players who encourage others to ruin the game with them.

Here are some scenarios which are considered encouraging rule-breaking:

Lying about what a rule means and trying to convince others that the rule means otherwise

Encouraging others to use a bug in game

Trying to force a player into breaking a rule by temptation

Admits to using a third party software (reporting it under macroing would not work)

Admits to breaking the rules of conduct

If you see anyone doing the above, report them by all means under the above rule.

FAQs

A player said “Hehe, go and scam that noob, nah jk.”, do I consider it to be encouraging rule breaking?

It really depends on your judgment, if the player is joking about it, perhaps you can just let it go. However, if the player really caused others to break the rules, you should perhaps send a query to Jagex explaining the situation. Remember to include all the players that are involved in it. At the same time, report the rule-breaker (the player that went on to break the rules) under the correct rule. (Remember that you need evidence to report any rule-breaking)

A player floods the chat screen with messages like “I’m using an autotyper, it’s great! Try it!”, should I report the player under rule 9 or rule 1?

It would be better if you report the player under rule 9, since it is encouraging rule breaking. If possible, call a player moderator to help to deal with the situation. (Remember that not all player moderators are free to help, report the offence yourself and only call for them when the situation worsens)

——————————————————————————–

Rule 10: False Representation/Misuse Of Customer Support

What is misuse of customer support? It involves reporting an innocent player, sending in useless queries to Jagex, lying to Jagex about certain information and abusing Jagex Staff. This rule is important so that Jagex can process the reports and queries as fast as possible, and ensure that players who really need assistance receives the support they need.

Here are some scenarios where it is considered to be misuse of customer support:

Using abusive language towards Jagex in game

Admitting to misuse of customer support (this will not happen most of the times, so be sure that there is enough evidence before reporting)

Threatening to report innocent players

If you see anyone doing the above, report them under this rule.

FAQs

A player says that he is going to report a player who called him a noob. Should I report him for misuse of customer support?

Not all players have read the knowledge base, so they would not know that the word “noob” is not reportable. Perhaps you can tell him that it is not reportable, and ask him to add the player to ignore.

A player is saying “Report (player name)!! He is a scammer!”, is that misuse of customer support?

No, it is not. The player is just warning everyone about the “scammer”, so no harm is done. However, you should not listen to him and proceed to report the “scammer”. As you have no evidence that the “scammer” is really scamming, it would not be wise to report him. Perhaps you can ask the player to report the “scammer” himself, and proceed on.

——————————————————————————–

Rule 11: Advertising/Website

What is advertising websites? It includes advertising websites, and also advertising any other product (such as third party programs) in game. This rule is vital as it protects the account security of all the players, and make sure that no one is directed to a site with inappropriate content.

Here are some scenarios where it is considered to be advertising websites:

Advertising a site that offers cheats and other forms of in game benefits

Advertising a site that has third party software

Asking players to go on a site to buy or sell accounts (also under encouraging rule breaking)

Admitting to advertising a site in the official forums

Advertising any other sites that are not related to Runescape

Trading other game accounts in Runescape

Advertising URL link related to messenger software

Advertising chat channels

For this rule, as long as a URL link is involved, you can report almost every instance that happens.

FAQs

A player is mentioning a fan site and directing a player to it, what should I do?

Unless a URL is mentioned, you should not report. Most official fansites are safe, so it is alright if players direct others to these help sites without mentioning a URL. However, if you are unsure about the safety of that fansite, you can proceed to report the player.

A player advertised his site on the official forums, what should I do?

In such a case, it would be best to report the thread that was breaking the rules in the “Forum Emergencies” sticky located in General Forum. Remember to read the instructions there carefully before proceeding to report.

——————————————————————————–

Rule 12: Real World Item Trading

What is real world item trading? It is the trading of items in Runescape for real world money. This rule is there to prevent players from trading accounts for the skills and items instead of earning them through game play. It is also unsafe, as many of these people may attempt to steal your money.

You will seldom be able to see it in game, but if you do see anyone doing it in game, it would be best to send in a report under this rule.

FAQs

I see a player selling an item on another site for real world money, what should I do?

You should report the site to Jagex through a query. In your query, include the link to that site so that Jagex can investigate the issue. Here is the format of the query:

A user by the name of [insert username here] was advertising a site which violated rule 12. The site advertised was [insert site name here].

Sincerely,

[your RuneScape name]

A player said, “I bought an account from ebay a week ago.” What do I do?

You can report the player under “encouraging rule breaking”.

——————————————————————————–

Rule 13: Personal Details

What is against the rule on personal details? It is to ask for or give out a person’s personal information which can be used to track down the person in real life. This rule is vital in protecting each and every one’s privacy and safety in real life.

Here are some scenarios considered to be asking for personal details:

Asking or giving out a player’s full name, telephone number, home address

Asking for or giving out player’s email address and messenger screen names

Revealing personal details in game or on the forums

If anyone is seen doing that, you can report under this rule.

FAQs

A player is asking for the age of another player, is that considered asking for personal details?

Nope, age is not personal details, reason being that there are lots of people who have the same age as you. It is impossible to track down a person in real life just by knowing the age.

Is asking for a person’s country considered asking personal details?

Nope, it is not. Often when players chat, they will ask for each other’s nationality. It is alright to do that, as it’s impossible to track down a person in real life with the above information.

——————————————————————————–

Rule 14: Misuse Of Official Forums

What is misuse of official forums? It is to post something that is against the code of conduct of the forums. This rule is necessary to maintain a friendly environment on the forums, as well as safeguard the players who use the official forums.

You will rarely come across any situations relating to this rule in game, but if you do come across it on the forums, report it in the “Forum Emergencies” thread located in the General Forum.

——————————————————————————–

Rule 15: Advert Blocking

What is advert blocking? It is when players attempt to block the advertisements on Runescape with advert-blocking software. This rule is essential for the free to play players to enjoy the free version of Runescape.

There is hardly any instances relating to this rule in game, if a player admits to breaking this rule in game, you can then report them.

FAQs

One of the advertisements is offensive, what should I do?

If you find any advertisements inappropriate, report them by clicking on “Comment on our service” on main page. Fill in the information in the advert complaint form and send it to Jagex. Jagex will reply back to you as soon as possible.

Note: Joking about any of the rules is equivalent to breaking them.

Freeplay Merchanting

To be a successful merchant, you must be keen, quick sighted and most of all, patience is the key to success. If you are none of those, then don't bother becoming a merchant because you will be quickly bored. So let's get started already!

Willow Merchanting

Difficulty: Easy

Money Needed: 25,000gp or more. cheap runescape gold

Probably the easiest way to merchant, Willow merchanting is quick, easy and a reliable way to make fast, easy money. Lets start by going to Draynor Village, a small Willow tree-infested village south and a little east of Falador:

Draynor Village is located southeast of Falador (bottom-right corner in this map).

On almost any world, travel to the part with the willow trees (right next to the bank) and start buying all the willows you can afford, (don't worry about losing all your money, if you do this right, you should get even more than before!) for no more than 25gp each.

Once you have a decent amount of willows, bank them, note them and switch to world 1 and sell them for 30 each in Draynor bank.

There you have it. Willow merchanting. Easy to do and probably the most common way of merchanting. Buying more willows means you can make even more money, so just risk it, and buy as many as you can to make larger profits of cash.

Death Merchanting

Difficulty: Medium

Money Needed: 250,000gp or more.

A good way to make profits of around 100-200k very easily is to merchant death runes. Varrock is a good place to start this. Go to the runes shop (located on the map with an icon like this: Magic Shop Icon) in an empty world.

Now start buying death runes like crazy. Keep swapping worlds if the shop runs out. A good tip for this is to buy over 1k deaths to make the larger profits of money (recommended)

Now that you have over 1k of deaths (recommended), it's time to swap to world 1, making sure that you are still in varrock. Now head over to the west bank once you've loaded the world and start selling the deaths you bought for 280- 300 each. Don't go lower or you will not benefit from the larger profits. cheap runescape gold

As you may have noticed after selling the deaths, you've become a lot richer than before. Enjoy the extra cash!

This is one of the prime ways to make a lot of easy and quick money and can also be used in the same way on chaos runes. Just follow the same order (although you will get less of a profit by using chaos).

Yew Merchanting

Difficulty: Medium

Money Needed: 250,000gp or more.

Another good way to make large profits of money is with yew merchanting.

The best place to start this is Edgeville. For those of you who don't have a clue where Edgeville is, I have provided a map below of where it is located on the world map. It is in between Varrock and Falador:

Edgeville is located northwest of Varrock (top-left corner of this map).

Go to the part of Edgeville where the yew trees are: Yew Tree Location in Edgeville on almost any world and start buying yews from people chopping the trees there for 250 each.

Once you have done this and have around 1k yews, go to varrock west bank (one without stairs) and sell to people for 280 - 300 each and making your quite large profit of 30k or more.

Coal Merchanting

Difficulty: Medium

Money Needed: About 200,000gp.

Another way to make large profits of money is by Coal merchanting.

First, go to Falador (a little west of Barbarian Village). If you don't know where it is, check out this map here:

Falador is located just southwest of Barbarian Village (bottom-left corner of this map).

Now, go to Falador east bank on an empty world such as world

world 62

and buy all the coal you can for 120 - 150 gp each. Buy around 1k or more, depending on how much of a profit you want to make, then bank and note it all and transfer to world 1 (when possible).

Staying in this same bank, start selling all of your coal to people right outside the doors of the bank for 180 - 200 each! Once done, guess what? You've made yourself an easy 30-40k* profit!

*You should receive about 30-40k profit for about 1k of coal. Try buying more than 1k coal to increase your profit!

Now move on to the next tip which is...

Big Bone Merchanting

Difficulty: Hard

Money Needed: About 300,000-350,000gp.

This is a common way to make even larger profits of money from merchanting and it is called Big bone merchanting.

To start (make sure you have around 300k), simply go to Varrock west bank and start buying as many Big Bones as you can for 300 each.

Don't bother trying to buy over 1k or more Big Bones in a not-so-populated world, because most people will transfer to world 1 and sell there instead.

Once you have around 1k (or more) Big Bones, go to world 1, same bank, same place and sell all of them for 400 each!

There you go, although it can take a long time to buy all those Big Bones, the huge profits you can make should keep you quiet!

Law Rune Merchanting

Difficulty: Hard

Money Needed: 300,000-400,000gp or more.

Law rune merchanting is a slow, but rewarding way to make profits of over 100k!

To start: Go to varrock west bank, world 1 and 3 and buy as many law runes as you can for 300-400 gp each. This should take quite a while, seeing as laws are hard to obtain and buy.

Once you have about 1k of laws *phew... finally...*, it is time to sell them, so sell them all 400-500 each and guess what? You've just made a very good profit! That was an easy 100k+!

Steel Bars Merchanting

Difficulty: Medium

Money Needed: 1,500,000gp or more.

A good way to make high profits is Steel bars Merchanting. First go to World 1 or 3 Falador East bank and start buying steel bars for 550 each.

You will get small amounts of steel bars, but in no time you will have 1,000 to 3,000 steel bars.

Now wait until the "rush hour" (Mostly around 3:30 - 5:00 GMT) and go sell your bars for 600 - 650 each. You will make a profit of at least 50,000 to even 300,000! Sometimes, higher leveled buy for 650 each. But it doesn't happen everyday.

Things to Look For

  • Remember, that not every runescape player out there is innocent.
  • When trading, make sure that the person you are trading with knows what you want to trade, just to prevent self- frustration.
  • Always remember to check the final trade screen before you accept, because you might get scammed without notice. If this does ever happen to you, find the person you were trading with and report them immediately, under the case of 'item scamming' to help stop them from scamming anyone again.
  • Never loose your cool- Always keep calm and if you start to get frustrated at someone, take a break and resume work somewhere else; don't get yourself too angry that you might get yourself a black mark (from a warning), because after 3 of them, you're finished.
  • It can help to be a high level when you are merchanting so that people will look up to you and from this you can even manipulate prices to suit your money limit.

Final Words

Well, that's it from me, I hope you have enjoyed not only reading this guide, but making your easy money. Soon you'll be on your way to becoming rich and successful (that is if you aren't already!).

  • Clinton Woo - I would like to say awesome site sal! Ok, if you are a member, get your theiving to 29. Then go to east Ardougne and pick the south house a few steps east then go upstairs and disarm trap on the norther chest and you will get 3gp and a nature rune, repeat alot and put in bank and sell to players for 300-350 gp each! I made 34k from only 91 runes!
  • Justrkomore - A good way to make money is to make strength potions. To do this bring a sharp weapon with you to Varrock sewers. Run through the entire sewer until reaching a web. Slash it open and run south then west until you reach some deadly red spiders. Take their eggs. Now give the eggs and 5gp to the apothecary to make a strength potion. Then sell them to high leveled pkers.
  • Rouge Menace - Hey Sal, you may remember me from such forums as, YOURS! Anyways I have two money making tips to do with theiving.

    1. At 20 theiving, steal silk in ardougne and put them in the bank. Later you can sell them somewhere, like varrock or if you avoid the stall for a bit, Ardougne. buy runescape gold

    2. At 35 theiving steal fur at the fur stall in Ardougne. Then sell them to that guy in varrock that buys them.

BY COMBINING THESE TIPS YOU CAN STEAL SILK TILL YOU CAN STEAL FURS THEN STEAL FURS TILL YOU GET ENOUGH FUR Happy trails

  • 03jgarland - I always hear people asking about how they can make "fast money." The truth is, there's no such thing. I'm an avid fisherman, and I can usually make about one million gold in three to four hours. That's great money, but it took me ages to get where I am. My advice to anybody that wants to make money is to just stick with it. Nothing in life, whether it be virtual or real, is ever free.
  • Jewelly55 - this tip is a gud money makin scheme thatll make u about 300-500k per hour... wot u need 2 do is get ur theivin 2 about 27(ish) make it 30 2 be sure, then wot u wanna do is head in2 ardougne from the east and go in one of the houses on the way on in2 the town square (with all the stalls) and upstairs is a chestand if u disarm the trap and open it ther is a few nats inside, then u go down-stairs and bak up to disarm the trap and repeat this for as long as u wnt. my record in an hour is bout 6,000,

Eventually when you get good enough you can craft law runes (about 1k for each rune as of Feb. 2005). When your mining runes you can visit other sites since it doesnt stop mining until you hav a full inventory. I love this site!!!!!
  • Aragorn EX - Sup sal! You have a great site! anyhow a great way to make money is mining rune essence. Just go to aubrey and select teleport (you have to complete rune mysteries quest) and mine away! Go and put it in your bank and repeat. When you get like 500-1000 sell for 20-30gp each. People always buy. Big mulah!!! buy runescape gold

  • Skylar - first off sal u rock.this tip is good for non-members.go to the chicken coop on the east side of the bridge in lumbrigde.then go north until u see the chicken coop kill chickens and take their feathers then sell them tp people(not stores)for about 5gp each.its easy to get about 200 feathers and get 10k off of that.
  • Razorslice - Hi, Sal. Even though I submit so many times. Maybe u will submit this time. Anyway,u can get tons of gp a day using this. Start with ur iron or bronze and make pl8bodys,skirts,legs,full and med helms, and ur customers choice of wep. Say ur selling male & female iron sets for 1.5k each maybe, or something else. U'll attract lots of attention in a busy area. Once u've got their preference e.g. pl8body or chain, med or full helm, pl8 legs or skirt, etc. go down and make it and return 2 sell. U'll make tons and u can do the same with mith, addy, rune, steel and any others. Since u could sell full rune 4 about 200k a set, with 5 customers u can make one mil!!!! I did this and now I have over 20mil!!!! I am spending it on zammy, guth and sara armor. Add me, Sal, 'Razorslice'. Yo! :)
  • *Runeboy9991 - Hi was up sal! i have invented another glorious money making tip , you will need 25 fletching, and 15 wood cutting. first cut about 1000 oak logs in the bank and make them in to oak bows with your knife then put loads of strings on then then sell them to a ranging store and you will get about 1.5k for 28 of them!
  • Razorslice - HI Sal. Ur site rox. Anyways, I am a multi-millionaire that makes male and female armour sets. U say u make male and female armour and sell 4 a fixed price like 1k for an iron male or female set. Female includes med helm, chainbody and pl8skirt, male includes full helm, pl8body and pl8 legs. This gets u money, mining and smithing xp. Also, as u get higher, make better metal sets and sell them. I can make rune sets with I sell 4 500k ea! Thats 2 sets 4 1 mil!!!!!!!!! Add me if u want, 'Razorslice! Yo Sal. Have fun making huge cash!!
  • Huggy_Bear13 - My Tip Involves 44 Runecraft , I myself am at 65 Rc so this is a sure fire way of making money for all you people. Ok at 44 Runecraft You can make natures. these sell 400ea.. • Rowanfletch - ok, firstly i'd like to say SAL THIS IS THE BEST SITE FOR RUNESCAPIANS (l0l) I HAVE EVER BEING TO. back to buisness, a great way for non-memberss to make money is fishing, my fishing is fairly high and i kan make decent money. but if your fishing is low why not say, buy lobs 150gp ea then sell them 200gp (cooked, you kan also do this with other items)
  • Punisher9900 - A gr8 way to make money is to range dragons and sell everything they drop even bones. I fond its best to do it on blue dragons in the taverly dunjun and the heros guild basement. The bones sell for 3k each and they can drop rune meds i think high alched for 18k and they can drop level 3 clues, steel stuff, herbs ect. You can make alot this way. In taverly you can hide behinds like mushrooms and the east corner of the heros guild dragon cage is the only place the dragon cant get to.
  • Bigball58 - BIG BONES!If u wanna make money quick kill giants and colloect there big bones.BY doin this u will also up combat lvls. sell each big bone 4 300 ea and u will get money in no time.3 giants equal 900gp.
  • Estellio IV - For non-members go to wizards circle near varrock. Now kill dark wizards and u can get chaos, natures, laws and elemental plus sometimes coins. I took me just 3/2 hours to get full mith!
  • Hellsquire - Sal, your site is the GREATEST!!! It helped me so much on Rune! Thanks to Sal, I'm not a noob anymore! (Oh yeah, the tip...) Mine rune essence. You just have to do the rune mysteries quest and then keep teleporting to rune ess from Aubury. His shop is really close to bank. It takes about 5 minutes to get 200 ess and you can sell this for 1k!
  • Glenn240 - OK i just want to say that Sal's website is DA BOMB!OK, now to the money u have to have at least lvl 15 minning. You go to edgeville and take a pickaxe into the wildy once u reach lvl 1 wildy make a left until and u reach the top of the ice mountain boarder you go north until u find a minning spot mine coal there until u have full inventory then go to edgeville bank and store it and do it again! It works i got 100k from it. • Pav01 - Sal You rock! If you are a pretty good mage say about 40 or 50 magic go to karajama island. go down the rope nto the cave. There are lesser demons. They drop lots of cash and even rune meds. that sell for about 10k-15k(feel free to talk to me in runescape) pav01

They drop loads of good stuff like: 2 law runes, 5 nature runes, 30 water runes, 5 mind runes, up to 120gp!!!!, half an apple pie (.....), pot of flour (.....) and 5 mith arrows and 2 adamant arrows!!! not bad, eh !!!! thats all the stuff ive had up to now. peace out!
  • Sokhal - There is a very easy to make money. The requirements you need to do it is: a dusty key, hallberd [any kind(the faster the better]. Ok, so go to Taverly dungeon past the blue dragons, next to the lava eel spot. There are black demons ahead. Anyways, go attack one with your hal and come to the corner of the wall. Start attacking it, it won't touch, it's too big. Keep on killing them. If you have a ring of wealth, you have a good chance of getting a rune med and a chance of getting a drag med. Well, good luck!
  • Ventures777 - this site when u talk about smithing u always say make stell pl8s BUT ure wrong it requires 5 steel bars but if u sell ure steel bars for 500 each u make 2500 instaed of the 1400 u say u get with aclchmey plus u save runes which u could sell for 300 each so 2800 almost double of the steel pl8s !happy money making!
  • Orkerik - K first i wanted to say that Sal's site is the best!My tip is go to the wild and to the lava maze enterence (nonmember and forgot wich lvl of wild)the is a water staff respawn.Go there and take it from each wrold untill your full and go to staff seller in varrock and sel for 1k each!

Warning:There are lesser demons and other pkers so if your a high lvl i dont think brining bery inportant stuff is a good idea cause u might lose em
  • Chaos3333 - I'm sure u will have heard this before but if u want money...pick flax

not only will u get decent crafting experience you can make upwards of 100k a day by selling the bowstrings to fletchers for 100gp each!!! try it out
  • Stanislov - This is a short one, if you buy arrows in a general store you can sell them for much more than it have costed you by selling them in the archery shop
  • Shendrik - Hello everybody! Do you want to make money? Do this: if you are fishing lvl 40 or higher go to Karamja dock with only money and a lobster pot. Then fish your inventory full. Then go back to falador bank and put the lobsters in bank! Then go back and do the samething if you have 250 raw lobsters go to world 1 and sell them for 200ea! It really works! You can to fish 100 lobbies and sell them! I did it and now I have full rune with 200K in bank!
  • Cpkv - ok, before i tell u a tip, just wanna sa sup sal. ok, if u have like .35 theiving than steal like,3k silk. than after u got the 3k silk. Go to ferminik and sell them, or wait like a day but be kinda far away from the silk stall and than sel them 60gp each. happy stealing and dont get caught=)
  • Rach1100 - Okay, this takes a little while but it makes a lot of money. First go to the silk trader in Alkarid and buy all the silk you can. Then go to the clothes store in Varrock and sell them. I made at least 150 gp in 30 minutes.
  • Lysealot - warning u need combat lvl above 70 to do this and a dragon fire shield! what you do is go into lvl 13 wildy and kill green dragons. This gets your prayer up good if you bury your bones and you get combat up fast! collect the hides and store them in edgeville bank. once u have about 50-100 green dragon hides go on forums and sell them for 2k each! its how i make my money and it really works! the more u do it the easier it gets!
  • Umbrella94 - ur probably not goin to print this but hey ill submit anyway. (this is like my 1000000000 time submitting and u havent printed any others) stuff sells for a ton more on karamja general store. i heard that a plain gold ring sold for 500gp! also tunas buy for 30 on the island and sell for 40 on the mainland so if u have 60 gp and in need of money use dis tip!!
  • Mikex134 - was up sal?

Anyway, when you get your fishing and cooking lvls to 40 fish and cook lobbies until you get around 500 lobbies. Then go next to wildy or taverly dungeon and sell them to people(sell for no less then 150ea).You should get around 75k-100k and a lot of xp. Happy fishing! 8 )

    • long way. If you want to get a lot of money and have a really honest friend then this is for you! First, meet your friend in adrouge and start stealing silk. Then give the silk to your friend and tell him to sell it for 60ea. You'll get 1k680 ea time and you can split that with your friend making it...840 gp ea! Happy thieving!

  • Xia0jing - hey, its me first tip about money...if you can fish tuna/lobs/sworddy..but mostly tuna best...go to karamja, there haf a fishing spot...juz head west...thn head north...get a harpoon/cage to start fishing ... thn later...to train on ur cooking skills, cook the wateva sea creature u got and then sell it to shops...easy money to earn anyway...but only for players who have fishing lvl 35 and above...=) 2nd tip...if ur lvl is not up to lvl 35...no worries...fish at the river...for trout/salmon...cook it and sell it to shops~...only for player wif fishing lvl 20 and above..=)
  • PK the Black - i found an new way of making 100k

in 4-5 hours stay around the chicken farm kill loads of chickens

take all the feathers they cost

10gp-5p each to good felcthers and good fishers get 10,000 feathers

and the sell them about 50 to 100k
  • Nannujerry - Making money tip

If you would want to make somethen follow this tip:

Requirments: at least lvl 16 runecrafting, 1k rune essence.

First mine 1k rune essence then make them air/mind runes. After when you have 2k mind/air runes sell them for about 40gp each. Don't sell them 1 by 1 all at a time. You ill totally get 80k for all of them!

    Cool or what?
  • Zarefore - if you've tried most things but cant make money spin flax(found near seers)into bowstrings(spining wheel also near seers) you can sell for 100 gp each! you can get 2.8k worth of bow string in about 5 mins that means 33.6k per hour! hope i helped!
  • Zip239 - These money making tips are for memebrs only! If you are a member, then the two things you should do, if you are a high enough lvl is to get a ring of wealth, and go fire giant killing. These guys drop dragon med helms, dragon half sheilds, rune arrows, blood runes, and rune scimitars. The second tip is to get 55 magic, then fletch like no tommorow. Soon you can make 200 per when you high alch maple bows, if you get to magic longs then you can get 1550gp per alch!
  • Piken Freak - hey sal nice site! for all runescapers out there go kill giants in deep edgeville dungeon get about 1k big bones and sell them for 300 each at world 1(thats300k!)
  • Alex - a really easy way to make money is to save up to about 50k or a little higher then buy coal 100 each in fallador then sell it for 120-150 each, keep repeating this process untill you can buy more andthe more you sell the more money you get. my freind taught me this hes a lvl 3 and from that he already has 1 mill and a halloween mask!!! obviously it works.
  • PinkFloydBoy - to make money. get a rune pick first of all. then, mine all the gold u possibly can. craft jewelery. (u need a smithing lvl of at least 40 to smelt gold. and u need to be at least lvl 5 to craft nething gold) sell the jewelery to the general store. even just the rings that u can craft at lvl 5 crafting go for 140 gp each. sell 10 of these, and u'll have 1.4 k easy as that. u'll get even more money for better jewelery
  • Evil Person 8 - A really great way to make money fast is to go to the Fur Stall in East Ardougne and steal gray wolf fur until you get up to about 100 furs and then go to Varrock and sell them to the fur trader in the middle of the city. At first he'll give you 150 gp for each, and after alot of selling he'll go down to 120 each, which is still a LOT. This will give you about 12K in less than an hour! (You must have at least lvl 34 thieving to steal from fur stalls).

  • Gonger65 - chop lots and lots of maples till you get at least 1k and the nsell them for 100k. That is how i earn my money fast, and theres good exp. in it too. The average amount of maples i would get per day is probably 500 but i 65 woodcutting so best of luck in earninig your heavy duty cash
  • Iamimortal99 - hi, it's me again, just before i say anything else, i LOVE your site! it's so cool! OK, now to the tips.

When your on to steel smithing, then just smith only steel! don't bother with smithing any more iron.when you get to 47- 49 smithing, you should be able to smith steel plate body's. smith them ONLY, and sell them in local shops!. if you sell around 1000, then you will be rich enought to buy dragon stuff! cool heh? hope this helps. bye! iamimortal99 ( add me if you want :) , i might feel generous...)
  • Pnkpantha007 - This tip is for people who have completed Doric's quest and can mine and smith mith or addy. Go to dwarven mines and mine coal, and mith or addy. Go to Falador furnace and smith, go to Dorics anvil and make shields. Finally, go to shield shop near Falador north entrance and sell the shields. Optionally, you can go to either of the banks and sell the shields.(you can also bank everything, but it takes longer because you have to constantly return to bank.)
  • TowerJack - If you would like to make lots of money on top of raising smithing and mining lvls mine 2k coal, 1k iron, and make 1k steel bars. You can now sell these steel bars for 500 gp each which comes out to a whopping 500,000 gps. or you can buy the coal for 150 each, which comes out to 300k and still make 200k plus the experience from smithing it.

    • Do you have stuff to sell but can't find a buyer? Well, you have 2 routes available to you.

      1. Go to world 1 and try to find a buyer...Its THE Trading world.

      2. Go to various forums and find the marketplace. You should have no problem finding a buyer.

  • Jarad933 - yo i was a noob because i lost full rune in wildy but by sellin yews 300 each i got 254k. I got full rune again so the point is work on woodcuting it rocks. sal ur website rocks!!!!!!!!
  • Chronos Elf - if you want easy money here is the way to do it, if you have a woodcutting level of 30 or higher go to draynor village and by the little fishing spot there are willows, chop heaps down until you get to about 500 logs, then sell them for 10k. this will get you money and woodcutting exp. it doesn't take long, and when you get to level 60 in WC, cut down yews and sell then for around 100-200 gold each. this is VERY easy, it may take a while, but be patient. Thanks
  • Cyborgxxi - Hello there! My first tip on this GREAT website! Okay, here is my tip for the week. Finish off the rune mysteries quest, then go start mining rune essences! Yes, it may seem boring and many people quit on the first 30 minutes. Get about 500~1000 (it will take less than 1~2hours). DONT EVERY SELL THEM FOR 10~15 gold pieces!! Go to world 1 and sell em for 30!! I'm serious! Make some serious cash and come off happy! I'll do it again :D Yippeee!

  • Goddess Lemo - Here is a tip that will get you lota of money. do quest that allows you to mine rune essence. get runecraft to level 14. Keep mining essence until you have 16,200 in bank, then turn them into fir runes in al kharid dessert. Go to Varrock's runeshop and keep on selling 10 at a time for 6gp. when done you should have 97,200gp.(spend wisely) you can repeat process to get even more, but don't sell to much in one rune shop. Try going to sarams port and selling some there, then try other worlds.
  • Mvp 5 - a good way to make cash is str pots you will need red spider eggs and limp roots and 5gp for each str pot u make and sell them for 1-2k(i made over 100k in 2 days)beware the red spiders are lvl 36 and u need to kill hobgoblins for the limp roots lvl 32
  • Flameboy2026 - If you ever walk past a general store, ALWAYS check what it has to sell. One time I had a look, and it had 149 mithril daggers for sale, 12 gp each!!! I bought 23 of them, costing me around 400 gp... But then I went to a sword shop, and sold for 137 gp EACH!!! i made an easy 25k... ALL BY CHECKING THE GENERAL STORE!!!
  • anorectic - A fast way to get money is to sell big bones. sell them for 200 gp each, and you will be richer :)
  • Iamimortal99 - When you first start runescape, try to get your mining level as high as possible, then get to about 60 mining. Then mine loads of mithril ores, then sell them, and save up to buy a rune pick. Then, mine coal and more mithril and sell it, and in no time at all, you'll be rich!!! another way of making money is to go in to the wildy, but only go to lvl 10 wildy MAX!!! and remember to buy loads of cooked lobbys or swordies, as they can help and heal you LOADS. remember to bring the best armour and weapons, but keep in mind that you could die and loose it all!!!
  • Spinny458 - Spinny458 here!!! Im a persistant fletcher who has loads of cash. I have a way to train your archery and/or make millions of gp!

First, chop 1,000 logs and carve them into arrow shafts. Next, aquire 1,000 steel barz and smith em into arrow heads. This may not sound hard but next you need to get 15k feathers. Once you have all those, you should have everything you need to make 15k steel arrows!!!!!! Sell them for 40 gp or more each and you should end up with about..... 600,000 gp!!!! Do the same with other types of arrows to make a fortune!!!! I traded 20k mithril arrows to a guy and I got full Guthix rune!!! Peace out Sal!!
  • Gatesentinel - Also, a great way to get money is by setting a reasonable goal of coal to get everyday, and if you keep on mining that much everyday, eventually you will have a lot of coal. (you can do the samething with other ores)
  • alexcplayer - Theres a awesome way of getting rare items and money!! note:you should be level 45 or above; well anyway, you take 60 coins and go to port sarim, take the trip to karamja and go to the mountains located east, go down and go to the lessers, make sure you bring lots of food, kill lessers and they drop heck alot of stuff, one time i got rune med helm which i sold for 11 k, they also drop gold and runes!!
  • Booksrock3 - find as much limpwurt root as you can then get alot of red spider eggs then have them turned in to strength potions and sell them at the edge of the wild i got a rune scimmy from this
  • Sethwenen - Making money, you are going to think its crazy but if you are level 50 instead of mining coal, mine iron, you can get it most of the times instantly, so is faster, you can have up to 3k of iron in one day, and there is always people that buy it at 100gps, If you mine coal you can mine around 1k a day and it sells at 150gps.Then compare, I make 300k a day (with iron), while other people make only 100k a day, this way, in some days you can be buying all trimmed armours you want, all holyday drops, ammys, weapons, and more.
  • Strongbad - On this site on Sal's moneymaking guide he put something about mining 2000 coal and 1000 iron and smithing it into 200 steel plates and you'll get 196k from high alching them. Well I did this and it worked great. I sold them to horvik and got about half of what you get form high alch but it was still great. I didn't beleive it would be that simple to make money but it was so listen to this site!!!
  • Whitenitrous - Mine coal lots of coal. But if you are like me (lazy) just try getting 100-200 a day 10 days 200 coal up to 250000gp especially in world 1. other wise it gets extreamly boring.
  • Runefreak190 - If you want to get good money and have 50 ranged then go to the taverly dungeon and range or mage hellhounds because they drop good clues. I have got 3 pieces of god armour from them.
  • Kainui - For all you begginers out there looking for money

Don't mine and sell! Smelt it and make it into amour and weapons! If you only work on mining for money, you'll regret it later and not be able to make your own armour. And you can always sell the finished product when you're done making it.

  • Strongbad - Never buy the coal if you are mining and smithing, because if you buy and sell stuff your profit still decreases even if you get lot. So if you have 100k and you buy 1k coal and smith and sell the stuff and get 90k then your out 10k even if you did get the experience , you should mine the coal and other ores yourself and you'll get lots more money even if it does take more time.
  • Sir Konfuzed - hi, if u r a high lvl non member fisherman (fishing lvl 50 ) i would reckomend you to continue to catch lobsters, instead of swordies.

this is because there is a greater demand for lobsters and they sell for 200ea while swordies sell for 300ea but take twice as long to catch
  • Stonefire66 - the best way to get money by far is to get ur mining levl to 30 and mine coal. keep goin to ur bank wen ur full and wen u hav about 300 go to the centre of varrok and sell 300 for 30-40k!!
  • Dagibit - it can b a pain 2 try 2 make money off yew logs when the local g store is already full, and their only worth 16- try switching servers every time u are full.
  • Big Bad Bullit - Make everything yourself, it might take time, but the profit you make is a huge!
  • Zeimon5566 - if u have a member friend, who likes fletching, train ur woodcutting!!! train till ur woodcutting lv to 30 - 50 and chop down the rarest trees as possible and sell to that friend of urs for 30 - 100. anyway u can chop trees easily.

    • mine coals and sell to a friend of mine(sticky ex). u will earn 120-130coins for 1 coals each

  • Red Kerrin - Ya know how its hard to get money when your not a high level? Well its not anymore. First you can mine iron and lots of it at either dwarf mines or the mines south east of fally. Then when you get to something like 1000 you sell. Its that easy

so far ive made 100k in the last 2 days and im not that high of a level. Try selling stuff in fally east bank. I think that at parts of the day its the best commerce place in runescape.
  • Fizard - a good way to get up to lvl 60 mining and lots of cash is this.

-mine tin tell your level 20 mining

-then mine iron tell your level 60

-then mine inside the mining guild (almost all coal) mine all the coal you can and sell for 100-200 gp

-i made 300k this way in 3 days
  • Montymus - Easy money- if you have 32 quest points an easy way to get money is to mine silver ore south east of varrock and sell them to the lady in the champions guild 30gp for 1 silver ore
  • Luke Serafino - mining is the best way 2 make money. believe me!

mine iron until ur lvl 30 then mine coal which u can sell for 100-200gp depending on the buyer.
  • One Big Tipper - If you are looking to make a lot of money quick would be to go to Falador and go to where the shortcut to the mines is located, get a decent pick and go mine coal down in the mines once you have filled your inventory you should head back to the bank and deposit them. (don't forget about fatigue) Then repeat wait until you have around 1000 coal in the bank. Then head to Draynor village where you can trade the coal for certs (certificates) then head to Varrock square and sell for around 1k each enjoy the spoils! (spend wisely) :)
  • Servant of Zamorak - If u want fast money and ur a member get 5 thieving and go to Ardougne. Then steal 1k cakes from the cake stall. I got 170k in like a day and u can snag choc slices too. Pk'ers buy the cakes about 100-150 each.
